It frames Jyotiṣa (a Vedāṅga) as an ordered, rule-based knowledge system—showing how cosmic patterns (rāśi natures and placements) are mapped for dharma-aligned living and disciplined practice.
Indirectly: by teaching correct astrological categories used for choosing proper times and conditions for vows, worship, and observances—supporting steady bhakti through regulated sādhana rather than randomness.
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga: the standard rashi taxonomy—gender (masculine/feminine/neuter) and motion-type (movable/fixed/dual)—plus the conventional ordering from Aries and their placement across directions used in calendrical and ritual calculations.
