Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
स्वोञ्चेष्वार्की तथा ज्यारैरुक्तैकांगे नृ पाधिपाः । लग्रे वर्गोत्तमेऽब्जे वा चतुरादिग्रहेक्षिते ॥ १७० ॥
svoñceṣvārkī tathā jyārairuktaikāṃge nṛ pādhipāḥ | lagre vargottame'bje vā caturādigrahekṣite || 170 ||
إذا كان زحل في برجه أو في موضع شرفه، وكذلك كان المشتري في الهيئة المذكورة كعاملٍ واحدٍ غالب؛ وإذا كان الطالع إمّا فَرْغُوتَّمَة (vargottama) أو واقعًا في الدلو، وتلقّى نظر الكواكب ابتداءً من البيت الرابع، صار المرء سيّدًا بين الملوك.
