It frames Jyotiṣa as a structured Vedāṅga topic—mapping how karmic tendencies and life-patterns are read through Moon-yogas, signs, aspects, and house results, which can support discernment (viveka) in Mokṣa-oriented living.
Indirectly: by cataloging astrological indicators like pravrajyā (renunciation) and temperament, it helps a seeker align life-choices toward sādhana; such alignment can stabilize devotion even if the verse itself is technical rather than devotional.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa—especially the interpretation of lunar yogas, planetary aspects (dṛṣṭi), and graha–bhāva (planet–house) results, along with sign-based character assessment.
