It frames precise Jyotiṣa computation as part of dharmic order—right knowledge of time and measures supports correct observance and disciplined living, aiding Moksha-oriented practice.
Indirectly: by teaching accurate calculation methods used for determining auspicious timings and observances, it supports orderly vrata and worship schedules that can be performed with steadiness and faith.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa (astronomical/astrological computation): it outlines a rule using rāśi-intervals, monthly-result differences, and correction terms (kṣepa) to derive final phala (computed results).
