गणिते परिकर्मादि खगमध्यस्फुटक्रिंये । अनुयोगश्चंद्रसूर्यग्रहणं तचोदस्याकम् ॥ ३ ॥

gaṇite parikarmādi khagamadhyasphuṭakriṃye | anuyogaścaṃdrasūryagrahaṇaṃ tacodasyākam || 3 ||

وفي غانيتا تُدرَّس الأعمال التمهيدية (parikarman) والطرائق الدقيقة لتعيين المواضع الحقيقية للأجرام السماوية؛ كما تُضمَّن المسائل التطبيقية، وحساب كسوف الشمس وخسوف القمر، مع الأساليب التي يُستبان بها سببُهما.
