स्वाक्षार्कनतभागानां दिक्साम्येऽतरमन्यथा । दिग्भेदोपक्रमः शेषस्तस्य ज्या त्रिज्यया हता ॥ १४१ ॥
svākṣārkanatabhāgānāṃ diksāmye'taramanyathā | digbhedopakramaḥ śeṣastasya jyā trijyayā hatā || 141 ||
إذا كانت حالةُ الجهات متناظرةً سُلِكَ مسلكُ الحالةِ البديلة؛ وإلا فالباقي يُعالَج بالابتداء من فرقِ الجهات. وجيبُ (jyā) ذلك الباقي إذا ضُرِبَ في التْرِجْيَا (نصف القطر) أعطى المقدار المطلوب.
