Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 65

योगस्वरूप-धारणा-समाधि-वर्णनम् (केशिध्वजोपदेशः)

तदेकावयवं चैवं चेतसा हि पुनर्बुधः । कुर्यात्ततोऽवयविनि प्रणिधानपरो भवेत् ॥ ६५ ॥

tadekāvayavaṃ caivaṃ cetasā hi punarbudhaḥ | kuryāttato'vayavini praṇidhānaparo bhavet || 65 ||

هكذا، على الحكيم أن يعاود في ذهنه اتخاذَ جزءٍ واحدٍ موضعَ التركيز، ثم ينتقل منه إلى الكلّ الذي يضمّ الأجزاء؛ وعندئذٍ يصير مُتفرّغًا لـ«برانيذانا» (التركيز العميق) على ذلك الكلّ.
