The Exposition of the Index (Anukramaṇī) of the Śrīmad Bhāgavata

Suta (narrator) summarizing the contents in the Anukramaṇikā style
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It functions as a contents-marker: it places Kapila’s Sāṅkhya as a doctrinal topic and then points to devotional exemplars (Satya and Dhruva), showing how philosophy and sacred biography are taught together.
By directing the reader from Sāṅkhya teaching to Dhruva’s life-story, it signals that steadfast devotion and remembrance of Viṣṇu (as exemplified by Dhruva) is a practical embodiment of higher knowledge.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this line; rather, it is an Anukramaṇikā-style organizational note that indexes philosophical and narrative sections.
