عند البرادوشا (وقت الشفق)، تُوقد مصابيح الزيت لإرضاء يَما؛ ويُفعل ذلك بذهنٍ ساكن إمّا عند مفترق الطرق أو قرب موضع برهمن خارج البيت.
Narada (instructional passage attributed within Narada Purana’s teaching flow)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches a simple dharmic observance—lighting oil-lamps at pradoṣa—to cultivate restraint and merit while ritually honoring Yama, the cosmic administrator of justice and death.
Though not directly a Vishnu-bhakti verse, it reflects bhakti’s practical side: disciplined, reverent acts done with samādhāna (a collected mind) as offerings that align one’s life with sacred order.
It highlights ritual timing and observance (kāla-niyama) centered on pradoṣa—an applied aspect of Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology/time-reckoning) used to choose auspicious/ritually prescribed moments.
