Narada
Vrata: none (part of the ongoing rite described in this section)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches inclusive, capacity-based devotion: after worshipping Jagannātha, one honors Umā and Maheśvara as sacred forms, showing that sincere bhakti is valid whether the offering is precious (gold/silver) or simple (clay).
Bhakti here is expressed through pūjā and reverent icon-worship, emphasizing intention and devotion over material expense—“yathāśaktyā” frames worship as accessible to all devotees.
Ritual practicality is highlighted: the verse implies correct pūjā-vidhi and appropriate materials for making mūrtis, aligning with applied Kalpa (ritual procedure) rather than abstract theory.
