Narada (teaching within the Narada Purana’s instructional dialogue tradition, commonly framed with the Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It states the phala (result) of properly completing a vrata: the devotee gains an exalted post-mortem destination—Gokuloka/Goloka—symbolizing purity, devotion, and divine proximity.
By emphasizing shared observance with one’s household, it portrays vrata as lived bhakti—devotion expressed through disciplined practice and collective participation, leading to a Vishnu-aligned divine realm.
Ritual discipline (kalpa-oriented practice) is implied: performing a vrata in the prescribed manner and completing it correctly is presented as the key practical takeaway, even though no specific Vedanga technique is named in this verse.
