The Exposition of the Ṣaṣṭhī-vrata Observed Through the Twelve Months
मृन्मयं विधिना कृत्त्वा पूजयेदुपचारकैः । संस्नाप्य शतरुद्रेण पृथक्पंचामृतैर्जलैः ॥ ५१ ॥
mṛnmayaṃ vidhinā kṛttvā pūjayedupacārakaiḥ | saṃsnāpya śatarudreṇa pṛthakpaṃcāmṛtairjalaiḥ || 51 ||
بعد أن يُشكِّل المرء تمثالًا (أو رمزًا) من الطين وفق الشعيرة المقرَّرة، فليعبده بالقرابين المعتادة. ثم وهو يتلو «شَتَرُدْرِيَّا» فليُجرِ عليه الغُسل على حدةٍ بخمسة الأَمْرِتات (pañcāmṛta) وبالماء الطاهر.
