The Exposition of the Ṣaṣṭhī-vrata Observed Through the Twelve Months
अन्नदानं जपो होमं पितृदेवर्षितर्पणम् । सर्वमेवाक्षयं ज्ञेयं कृतं देवर्षिसत्तम ॥ ३२ ॥
annadānaṃ japo homaṃ pitṛdevarṣitarpaṇam | sarvamevākṣayaṃ jñeyaṃ kṛtaṃ devarṣisattama || 32 ||
إنّ إطعام الطعام، وترديد المانترا (جَپا)، وتقديم قربان النار (هوما)، وسكب القرابين المائية (تَربَنا) للآباء الأسلاف وللآلهة وللرِّشيّات—كل ذلك يُعلَم أنه ثواب لا يفنى، يا أفضل الدِّيفَرِشي، إذا أُدِّي على وجهه الصحيح.
