The Account of the Third-day Vow Observed through the Twelve Months
Tṛtīyā-vrata
एवं द्वादशवर्षाणि कृत्वा गौरीव्रतं शुभम् । धेनुद्वादशसंकल्पं दद्यादुत्सर्गसिद्धये ॥ ७ ॥
evaṃ dvādaśavarṣāṇi kṛtvā gaurīvrataṃ śubham | dhenudvādaśasaṃkalpaṃ dadyādutsargasiddhaye || 7 ||
وهكذا، بعد أداء نذر غَورِي المبارك اثنتي عشرة سنة، ينبغي أن يُقدَّم عطاءُ النذر المعروف بـ«عزم الاثنتي عشرة بقرة» (dhenudvādaśa-saṅkalpa)، لكي يكتمل طقس الأوتسَرْغا (utsarga) وتتحقق غايته.

It teaches that long-term vrata-observance should culminate in a properly vowed dāna (gift with saṅkalpa), so the merit of the vow becomes complete and ritually “sealed” through utsarga-siddhi.
