Matsya Purana — Rites for Consecrating and Celebrating Trees, Shloka 13

स्नातः शुक्लाम्बरस्तद्वद् यजमानो ऽभिपूजयेत् गोभिर् विभवतः सर्वान् ऋत्विजस्तान्समाहितः //

snātaḥ śuklāmbarastadvad yajamāno 'bhipūjayet gobhir vibhavataḥ sarvān ṛtvijastānsamāhitaḥ //

وبعد أن يغتسل ويلبس ثيابًا بيضاء، ينبغي لليَجَمانا (صاحب القربان) أن يكرّمهم كذلك بعبادةٍ توقيرية؛ ووفقًا لقدرته، عليه أن يُجزي جميع الكهنة القائمين بالطقس (ṛtvij) بعطايا من الأبقار، وهو ثابت الجأش حاضر الذهن.
