This verse is not about pralaya; it is a phala-śruti style statement emphasizing the post-mortem spiritual destination—attaining Vishnu’s bliss-giving abode—through completed merit and devotion.
It frames dharmic life as culminating in “akhaṇḍa” (unbroken) merit: a king or householder who sustains consistent worship, vows, charity, and temple/service-oriented piety is promised a higher devotional end—entry into Vishnu’s realm.
No direct Vāstu or iconographic rule is stated; the ritual takeaway is completion and integrity of observance (akhaṇḍa) and the devotional result—honour by the gods and attainment of Vishnu’s ānanda-kṛt-sthāna.
