Adhyaya 49 — Primordial Human Creation, the Rise of Desire, and the Origins of Settlements, Measures, and Agriculture
स चापि तत्त्वतो ज्ञात्वा तदा ग्रस्तां वसुन्धराम् ।
वत्सं कृत्वा सुमेरुं तु दुदोह भगवान् विभुः ॥
sa cāpi tattvato jñātvā tadā grastāṃ vasundharām /
vatsaṃ kṛtvā sumeruṃ tu dudoha bhagavān vibhuḥ //
وكذلك براهما، إذ عرف حقيقة الأمر ورأى أن الأرض قد «ابتُلِعت» (سُلِبت/غُمِرت)، قام الربّ المبارك، القادر على كل شيء، بحلبها—جاعلاً جبل سوميرو عجلاً.
