Adhyaya 40 — The Yogin’s Impediments (Upasargas), Subtle Concentrations, and the Eight Siddhis
यत्रेच्छास्थानमप्युक्तं यत्रकामावसायिता ।
ऐश्वर्यकारणैरेभिर्योगिनः प्रोक्तमष्टधा ॥
yatre cchāsthānam apy uktaṃ yatra kāmāvasāyitā / aiśvaryakāraṇair ebhir yoginaḥ proktam aṣṭadhā
حيثما شاء قيل إن ذلك الموضع متاح له؛ وحيثما وجّه (عزمه) وجدَت الرغبةُ تمامَها. وبهذه الأسباب من القدرة السيادية (aiśvarya) تُعلَن مناقبُ اليوغي وإنجازاته ثمانيةَ الأنواع.
