على طريقٍ قاسٍ خَشِنٍ تُوعِرُه أشواكُ عشبِ الكوشا (kuśa) وتلالُ النملِ والأوتادُ والحجارة—في مواضعَ تتّقدُ فيها نيرانٌ ملتهبة، وفي مواضعَ أخرى يشتدّ هولُها بمئاتِ الرؤوسِ الحادّة—
