अगस्त्य एव कृत्स्नं तु वातापिं बुभुजे ततः । भुक्तवत्यसुरो55ह्लानमकरोत् तस्य चेल्वल:,अगस्त्यजी ही वातापिका सारा मांस खा गये; जब वे भोजन कर चुके, तब असुर इल्वलने वातापिका नाम लेकर पुकारा
agastya eva kṛtsnaṃ tu vātāpiṃ bubhuje tataḥ | bhuktavān asuro ’hlānam akarot tasya celvalaḥ ||
قال لوماشَ: إنّ أغاستيا وحده قد التهم فاطابي كلَّه. فلما فرغ الحكيم من طعامه، نادى الأسورا إيلفالا—يريد السخرية والإيذاء—فاطابي باسمه، متوقّعًا أن يندفع خارجًا من جديد. غير أنّ الحادثة تُبيّن كيف ترتدّ الخديعة الخبيثة على صاحبها، بينما تحمي القوة الروحية القائمة على الانضباط والزهد أهلَ الصلاح.
