Transmission of Akṣa-hṛdaya; Kali’s Exit and the Bibhītaka Refuge
एतच्छुत्वाश्रुपूर्णाक्षी पर्णादस्य विशाम्पते । दमयन्ती रहो<भ्येत्य मातरं प्रत्यभाषत,युधिष्ठिर! पर्णादका यह कथन सुनकर दमयन्तीके नेत्रोंमें आँसू भर आया। उसने एकान्तमें जाकर अपनी मातासे कहा--
etac chrutvāśrupūrṇākṣī parṇādasyā viśāmpate | damayantī raho 'bhyetya mātaraṃ pratyabhāṣata, yudhiṣṭhira ||
فلما سمعتْ ذلك، يا سيّدَ الناس، اغرورقت عينا دمايانتي بالدموع. ثم انتحَتْ إلى موضعٍ خفيّ، ودنت من أمّها وقالت—يا يودهيشثيرا.
