दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure
दमयन्ती तथा वाग्भिरभिनन्द्य कृताज्जलि: । तौ परस्परत: प्रीतौ दृष्टवा त्वग्निपुरोगमान्
damayantī tathā vāgbhir abhinandya kṛtāñjaliḥ | tau parasparataḥ prītau dṛṣṭvā tv agnipurogamān ||
فحيّتْ دَمَيَنْتِي القومَ بكلماتٍ لطيفة، وقد ضمّت كفّيها إجلالاً. ولمّا رأتْ الاثنينِ مسرورَينِ أحدُهما بالآخر، وجّهتْ بصرَها إلى الذين كانوا يمضون وأَغْنِي في المقدّمة—وهي علامةُ يُمنٍ تُثبّتُ وفاقَهما وصوابَ سلوكِهما.
