तस्यास्तु शीलवृत्तेन तुतोष द्विजसत्तम: । अवधानेन भूयो<स्या: परं यत्नमथाकरोत्‌,उसके शील, सदाचार तथा सावधानीसे उन द्विजश्रेष्ठको बड़ा संतोष हुआ। उन्होंने कुन्तीका हित करनेका पूरा प्रयत्न किया

Transliteration

tasyāstu śīlavṛttena tutoṣa dvijasattamaḥ | avadhānena bhūyo ’syāḥ paraṁ yatnam athākarot |

Translation

لما رأى خُلُقها الحسن وسيرتها، سُرَّ أعظمُ ذوي الميلادين سرورًا شديدًا. ثم إذ أبصر حِرصها وتيقّظها، ازداد اجتهادًا وبذل غاية وسعه في السعي إلى خيرها ورفاهها.
