Dharma-pratyabhijñāna and Vara-pradāna (धर्मप्रत्यभिज्ञानम्—वरप्रदानम्)

सावित्री बोली--उपवासके कारण मुझे किसी प्रकारकी शिथिलता और थकावट नहीं है। चलनेके लिये मेरे मनमें पूर्ण उत्साह है, अतः आप मुझे मना न कीजिये ।। सत्यवानुवाच यदि ते गमनोत्साह: करिष्यामि तव प्रियम्‌ मम त्वामन्त्रय गुरून्‌ न मां दोष: स्पृशेदयम्‌

satyavān uvāca—yadi te gamanotsāhaḥ kariṣyāmi tava priyam | mama tvām antraya gurūn na māṃ doṣaḥ spṛśed ayam ||

قالت سافيتري: «بسبب الصوم لا أشعر بفتورٍ ولا بتعبٍ على أيّ وجه. في قلبي حماسةٌ تامّة للمسير، فلا تمنعني». وقال ساتيافان: «إن كان فيك حقًّا شوقٌ إلى الذهاب فسأفعل ما يرضيك. ولكن استأذني أولًا شيوخي وكبار أهلي، لئلا يلحقني لومٌ في هذا الأمر».
