Entry into the Yakṣa-Lake Episode
राजोवाच अविचाल्यं तदुक्तं यत् तथ्यं भगवता वच: । करिष्याम्येतदेवं च गुरुर्हि भगवान् मम,राजा बोले--देवर्षे! आपने जो बात कही है, वह ठीक है। उसे टाला नहीं जा सकता। अतः मैं ऐसा ही करूँगा, क्योंकि आप मेरे गुरु हैं
rājovāca—avicālyaṃ tad uktaṃ yat tathyaṃ bhagavatā vacaḥ | kariṣyāmy etad evaṃ ca gurur hi bhagavān mama ||
قال الملك: «يا رِشيَ الآلهة، إن ما نطقتَ به حقٌّ لا يُدفع. لذلك سأعمل على وفق ما قلتَ تمامًا، لأنك أيها الحكيم الموقَّر حقًّا مُعلّمي.»
नारद उवाच
A truthful instruction given by a revered teacher should not be dismissed; ethical action includes humility and readiness to follow sound counsel grounded in truth (tathya) and dharma.
A king responds to a sage’s guidance (addressing him as Devarṣi and guru), affirming that the sage’s words are true and binding, and pledging to carry out the advised course of action.
