विभीषणर्क्षाधिपती पुरस्कृत्याथ लक्ष्मण: । दक्षिणं नगरद्वारमवामृद्नाद् दुरासदम्,नगरके दक्षिण द्वारमें प्रवेश करना बहुत कठिन था, परंतु लक्ष्मणने विभीषण और जाम्बवानको आगे करके उसे भी धूलमें मिला दिया
vibhīṣaṇarkṣādhipatī puraskṛtyātha lakṣmaṇaḥ | dakṣiṇaṃ nagaradvāram avāmṛdnād durāsadam ||
قال ماركاندييا: ثم إن لاكشمانا قدّم فيبيشانا وجامبافان، سيد الدببة، في المقدّمة، فحطّم البوابة الجنوبية للمدينة—وهي مدخل كان اقتحامه في العادة بالغ العسر.
