Chapter 270: Slaying of Prahasta; Defeat of Dhūmrākṣa; Awakening of Kumbhakarṇa
ततो<पश्यंस्तस्य सैन्यस्य रेणु- मुद्भूतं वै वाजिखुरप्रणुन्नम् । पदातीनां मध्यगतं च धौम्यं विक्रोशन्तं भीममभिद्रवेति,तदनन्तर उन्हें जयद्रथकी सेनाके घोड़ोंकी टॉपसे आहत होकर उड़ती हुई धूल दिखायी दी। उसके साथ ही पैदल सैनिकोंके बीचमें होकर चलते हुए पुरोहित धौम्य भी दृष्टिगोचर हुए, जो बार-बार पुकार रहे थे--“भीमसेन! दौड़ो'
tato ’paśyaṁs tasya sainyasya reṇum udbhūtaṁ vai vājikhura-praṇunnam | padātīnāṁ madhyagataṁ ca dhaumyaṁ vikrośantaṁ bhīmam abhidraveti ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: ثم رأى سحابة الغبار التي أثارها ذلك الجيش بضربات حوافر الخيل. ورأى كذلك الكاهن دهوْمْيَا يشق طريقه بين المشاة، يصرخ مرارًا: «يا بِهيما! أسرِع—اندفع إلى الأمام!»
