Rāma at Pampā; alliance with Sugrīva; Vālin’s fall; Sītā’s guarded captivity
na bhayaṁ vidyate tasmād ṛṣe durvāsaso 'lpakam | tejasā bhavatāṁ bhītaḥ pūrvam eva palāyitaḥ ||
Kṛṣṇa reassures that fear should not arise when righteousness and spiritual potency (tejas) stand as protection; the intimidating force (here, Durvāsā) is checked by the superior moral-spiritual power of the virtuous.
Kṛṣṇa tells the sage that Durvāsā is no longer a threat: sensing the formidable tejas of the assembled righteous ones, Durvāsā became afraid and withdrew immediately, fleeing before any confrontation.
