रावण–मारीचसंवादः तथा मृगप्रलोभनपूर्वकं सीताहरणोपक्रमः
Rāvaṇa–Mārīca Dialogue and the Decoy-Deer Prelude to Sītā’s Abduction
तत्रापि स महाभाग: सुखभागभिजायते । न चेत् सम्बुध्यते तत्र गच्छत्यधमतां तत:,वहाँ भी वह महाभाग मानव सुखके साधनोंसे सम्पन्न होकर ही उत्पन्न होता है। परंतु यदि मानवयोनिमें वह अपने कर्तव्यको न समझे, तो उससे भी नीची योनिमें चला जाता है
tatrāpi sa mahābhāgaḥ sukhabhāgabhijāyate | na cet sambudhyate tatra gacchaty adhamatāṃ tataḥ ||
«وحتى في مولده بين البشر، يُولَد ذلك المحظوظ وله نصيبٌ ووسائلُ للسعادة. ولكن إن لم يستيقظ في الحالة الإنسانية ولم يفهم واجبه (الدهرما)، فإنه من هناك يهبط إلى مراتب وجودٍ أدنى.»
