रावण–मारीचसंवादः तथा मृगप्रलोभनपूर्वकं सीताहरणोपक्रमः

नातप्ततपस: पुंसो नामहायज्ञयाजिन: । नानृता नास्तिकाश्वैव तत्र गच्छन्ति मुदूगल,मुद्गल! जिन्होंने तपस्या नहीं की है, बड़े-बड़े यज्ञोंद्वारा यजन नहीं किया है तथा जो असत्यवादी एवं नास्तिक हैं, वे उस लोकमें नहीं जा पाते हैं
nātapta-tapasaḥ puṃso nāmahā-yajña-yājinaḥ | nānṛtā nāstikāś caiva tatra gacchanti mudgala ||
قال الرسول الإلهي: «يا مُدْغَلا، إن الذين لم يكتووا بحرّ التَّقشّف، ولم يتعبّدوا بالقرابين العظمى، وكانوا كذّابين جاحدين—أولئك لا يبلغون ذلك العالم.»
