ते तु तत्र नरव्याप्रा: समीप इति नः श्रुतम् अतो नाभ्यनुजानामि गमन तत्र वः स्वयम्,मैंने सुना है कि नरश्रेष्ठ पाण्डव भी इन दिनों वहीं कहीं आस-पास ठहरे हुए हैं; अतः तुमलोगोंको मैं स्वयं वहाँ जानेकी आज्ञा नहीं दे सकता
te tu tatra naravyāprāḥ samīpa iti naḥ śrutam | ato nābhyanujānāmi gamanaṃ tatra vaḥ svayam ||
«غير أنّا سمعنا أن الباندافا—وهم خِيارُ الرجال—يقيمون في مكانٍ قريب من تلك الناحية بعينها. لذلك لا أستطيع أن آذن لكم أن تذهبوا إلى هناك من تلقاء أنفسكم».
