चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

विवेश कवचं चास्य शरीरे सहजं तथा । युध्यमानस्य देवस्य प्रादुर्भवीति तत् सदा,तथा उन स्कन्ददेवके शरीरमें सहज (स्वाभाविक) कवचका प्रवेश हो गया, जो सदा उनके युद्ध करते समय प्रकट होता था
viveśa kavacaṃ cāsya śarīre sahajaṃ tathā | yudhyamānasya devasya prādurbhavīti tat sadā ||
قال ماركاندِيا: «ثم دخل في جسده درعٌ طبيعيٌّ مولودٌ معه. وكان ذلك السلاح الواقي يظهر من تلقاء نفسه كلّما انخرط الإله في القتال».
