सत्यभामया द्रौपद्याश्वासनम्
Satyabhāmā’s Consolation of Draupadī
वध्यमानं बल दृष्टवा बहुशस्तै: पुरंदर: । स सैन्यनायकार्थाय चिन्तामाप भृशं तदा,जब इन्द्रने देखा कि दानव बार-बार देवताओंकी सेनाका वध कर रहे हैं, तब उन्हें एक सुयोग्य सेनापतिकी आवश्यकता हुई। इसके लिये वे बहुत चिन्तित हुए
vadhyamānaṃ balaṃ dṛṣṭvā bahuśastaiḥ purandaraḥ | sa sainyanāyakārthāya cintām āpa bhṛśaṃ tadā ||
لمّا رأى بورندرا (إندرا) قوّاته تُقطَع مرارًا وتكرارًا بشتى الأسلحة، اضطرب اضطرابًا شديدًا. وفي تلك اللحظة غاص في تفكير عميق، مدركًا الحاجة العاجلة إلى قائد كفء يتولى قيادة الجيش.
