स्कन्दसेनापत्याभिषेकः
Skanda’s Consecration as Devasenāpati
अथ संचिन्तयामास भगवान् हव्यवाहन: । अन्योडग्निरिह लोकानां ब्रह्मुणा सम्प्रकल्पित:,तब भगवान् अग्निने यह सोचा--'हो-न-हो, ब्रह्माजीने इस जगत्के लिये किसी दूसरे अग्निदेवताका निर्माण कर लिया है'
atha sañcintayāmāsa bhagavān havyavāhanaḥ | anyo 'gnir iha lokānāṃ brahmaṇā samprakalpitaḥ ||
عندئذٍ تأمّل الإله هڤيَواهَن، إله النار، في نفسه: «لعلّ براهما قد عيّن هنا أغنيًا آخر للعوالم».
