स्कन्दोपाख्यानम् — उत्पातशान्तिः, स्वाहारूपविचारः, कौमारमङ्गलक्रियाः

ततस्तं ब्राह्मुणं ताभ्यां धर्मव्याधो न्यवेदयत्‌ । तौ स्वागतेन तं विप्रमर्चयामासतुस्तदा,तदनन्तर धर्मव्याधने अपने माता-पिताको उस कौशिक ब्राह्मणका परिचय दिया। तब उन दोनोंने भी स्वागतपूर्वक ब्राह्मणका पूजन किया

Transliteration

tatastaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ tābhyāṃ dharmavyādho nyavedayat | tau svāgatena taṃ vipram arcayāmāsatus tadā |

Translation

ثم إن الجزارَ الصالح قدّم ذلك البراهمن إلى والديه. فاستقبله الاثنان بحفاوة الضيافة الواجبة، وأكرماه بتبجيلٍ وعبادةٍ خاشعة—مُظهِرَين أن الدارما الحقّة تتجلى في السلوك الوقور تجاه الضيف وأهل الفضيلة، مهما اختلفت المنزلة الاجتماعية.
