व्याध उवाच
This line is a colophon marking the end of a chapter whose subject is the Brahmin–Vyādha dialogue; its framing emphasizes dharma taught through lived conduct and reasoned conversation, highlighting that ethical insight can come from unexpected social roles.
The text is not a spoken verse of the dialogue itself but an editorial/narrative closing statement: it announces that the 211th chapter, focused on the Brahmin and the hunter’s conversation within the Vana Parva’s Markandeya-related sub-section, has concluded.
