एवं सन््तो वर्तमानास्त्वेधन्ते शाश्वती: समा: । अहिंसा सत्यवचनमानृशंस्यमथार्जवम्
evaṁ santaḥ pravartamānās tv edhante śāśvatīḥ samāḥ | ahiṁsā satyavacanaṁ mānṛśaṁsyam athārjavam ||
وهكذا فإنّ الذين يحيون ويتصرّفون كأهل الفضيلة الحقّة يظلون مزدهرين عبر سنين لا تنقضي. اللاعنف، وصدق القول، والرحمة (الخلوّ من القسوة)، والاستقامة الصريحة—هذه هي الخصال التي تُقيم مثل هذه الحياة وتزيدها نماءً.
