Transliteration

pādyam ācamanīyaṃ vai dadau bhartus tathāsanam | brahmā paryacarac cāpi bhartāram asitekṣaṇā ||

Translation

قال ماركاندييا: قدّمت لزوجها ماءً لغسل القدمين وماءً للارتشاف وفق طقس الضيافة، وهيّأت له كذلك مقعدًا. وكانت السيدة ذات العينين الداكنتين تخدم زوجها بخضوعٍ موقّر—سلوكًا يوافق الدارما ويجسّد الوفاء الزوجي.
