Indradyumna Upākhyāna: On Kīrti, Smṛti, and Restoration
स चेम॑ संकुलं लोकं प्रसादमुपनेष्यति । उत्थितो ब्राह्मणो दीप्त: क्षयान्तकृदुदारधी:,वह उदारबुद्धि, तेजस्वी ब्राह्मण, दुःखसे व्याप्त हुए इस जगत्को आनन्द प्रदान करेगा। कलियुगका अन्त करनेके लिये ही उसका प्रादुर्भाव होगा
sa cemaṁ saṅkulaṁ lokaṁ prasādam upaneṣyati | utthito brāhmaṇo dīptaḥ kṣayāntakṛd udāradhīḥ ||
وقال ماركاندييا: «وسيهبُ هذا العالمَ المضطربَ سكينةً ووضوحًا. إذ ينهضُ برهميًّا متلألئًا—سخيَّ العقل والنية—سيغدو الأداة التي تضع حدًّا لانحطاط العصر؛ إذ يظهر خصيصًا ليقطع المسار القاهر لكالي-يوغا ويعيد العافية والرخاء.»
