Indradyumna Upākhyāna: On Kīrti, Smṛti, and Restoration
म्लेच्छभूतं जगत् सर्व भविष्यति युधिष्ठिर । नश्राद्धैस्तर्पयिष्यन्ति दैवतानीह मानवा:,युधिष्ठि!| उस समय सारा जगत् म्लेच्छ हो जायगा। मनुष्य श्राद्ध और यज्ञ-कर्मोद्वारा पितरों और देवताओंको संतुष्ट नहीं करेंगे
mlecchabhūtaṃ jagat sarvaṃ bhaviṣyati yudhiṣṭhira | na śrāddhaiḥ tarpayiṣyanti daivatānīha mānavāḥ ||
قال ماركانديَيا: «يا يودهيشثيرا، سيغدو العالم كلّه مع الزمن كالمْلِتشّا—منفصلًا عن النظام المقدّس. ولن يعود الناس هنا يُرضون القوى الإلهية بطقوس الشرادها (śrāddha) وواجبات القربان والتضحية.»
