कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma

तपसा चिन्तयंश्वापि तं शिशुं नोपलक्षये । भूतं भव्यं भविष्यं च जानन्नपि नराधिप,नरेश्वर! मैं भूत, भविष्य और वर्तमान तीनों कालोंका ज्ञाता होनेपर भी तपस्यासे भलीभाँति चिन्तन करता (ध्यान लगाता) रहा, तो भी उस शिशुके विषयमें कुछ न जान सका

tapasā cintayaṁś cāpi taṁ śiśuṁ nopalakṣaye | bhūtaṁ bhavyaṁ bhaviṣyaṁ ca jānann api narādhipa, nareśvara |

قال فايشَمبايانا: «حتى وأنا أمارس التَّقشّف وأُحكمُ التركيز في التأمّل، لم أستطع أن أتبين شيئًا عن ذلك الطفل. يا أيّها الملك، يا سيّدَ الرجال—مع أنّي أعلم الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل، فقد عجزتُ مع ذلك عن بلوغ معرفةٍ بشأنه.»
