आदित्यो दिवि देवेषु तमो नुदति तेजसा । तथैव नृपतिर्भूमावधर्मनुदते भूशम्,जैसे देवलोकमें सूर्य अपने तेजसे सम्पूर्ण अन्धकारका नाश करता है, उसी प्रकार राजा इस पृथ्वीपर रहकर अधर्मोंको सर्वथा हटा देता है
ādityo divi deveṣu tamo nudati tejasā | tathaiva nṛpatir bhūmāv adharma-nudate bhūśam ||
قال سَنَتْكُمارا: «كما أنّ الشمسَ في السماء، بين الآلهة، تطرد الظلامَ بإشراقها، كذلك الملكُ المقيمُ على الأرض يبدّد الأدهَرْمَا بقوّةٍ وحزم.»
