प्रावृट्-शरत्-वर्णनम् — Description of the Monsoon and Autumn; Sarasvatī in the Pāṇḍavas’ Exile
स ददर्श शुभान् देशान् गिरेहिमवतस्तदा देवर्षिसिद्धचरितानप्सरोगणसेवितान्,उन्होंने हिमालय पर्वतके उन शुभ प्रदेशोंका अवलोकन किया जहाँ देवर्षि और सिद्ध पुरुष विचरण करते थे तथा अप्सराएँ जिनका सदा सेवन करती थीं
sa dadarśa śubhān deśān gireḥ himavataḥ tadā devarṣi-siddha-caritān apsaro-gaṇa-sevitān
قال فايشامبايانا: ثم أبصر الأقاليم المباركة من جبال الهيمالايا—أراضي يرتادها الرِّشي الإلهيون وأهل الكمال من السِّدّها، وتزدهي على الدوام بجماعات الأبسارا.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical power of sacred environments: places associated with tapas and perfected beings are portrayed as naturally auspicious, encouraging purity of mind and conduct in those who approach them.
The narrator describes the protagonist’s journeying vision: he observes the holy Himalayan regions, depicted as the dwelling and resort of devarṣis, siddhas, and apsarases.
