निर्घातश्चाभवद् भीमो भीमे विक्रममास्थिते । चचाल पृथिवी चापि पांसुवर्ष पपात च,जिस समय भीम राक्षसोंके साथ युद्धमें भारी पराक्रम दिखा रहे थे, उस समय पृथ्वी हिलने लगी, आकाशमें भीषण गर्जना होने लगी और धूलकी वर्षा आरम्भ हो गयी
nirghātaś cābhavad bhīmo bhīme vikramam āsthite | cacāla pṛthivī cāpi pāṃsuvarṣa papāta ca ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: لما ثبت بهيما—المهيبُ بأسًا—في شجاعةٍ ضارية في القتال ضدّ الرّاكشاسا، ظهرت العلامات المشؤومة: دوّى هديرٌ مرعب، وارتجّت الأرض، وابتدأ مطرٌ من الغبار يهطل. ويؤكد المشهد أن القوة الاستثنائية والصدام العنيف ينعكسان في اضطراب الطبيعة، دالّين على جسامة تلك اللحظة.
