Educational Q&A

When danger and disorder arise, dharma is upheld not only through force but also through reassurance, respectful counsel, and protective rites—restoring confidence in the ruler and safeguarding the community.

A group (implicitly ritual specialists/elders) consoles and honors the king with blessings, then undertakes protective measures: reciting rākṣasa-destroying mantras and performing śānti rites to avert harm.
