Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)
स गृहीत्वा वसुमतीं शृज्जेणैकेन भास्वता । योजनानां शतं वीर समुद्धरति सो$क्षर:,वीर युधिष्ठिर! अविनाशी भगवान् विष्णुने अपने एक ही तेजस्वी दाँतके द्वारा पृथ्वीको थामकर उसे सौ योजन ऊपर उठा दिया
sa gṛhītvā vasumatīṃ śṛṅgeṇaikena bhāsvatā | yojanānāṃ śataṃ vīra samuddharati so 'kṣaraḥ || vīra yudhiṣṭhira! avināśī bhagavān viṣṇuḥ svenaikena tejasvinā daṃṣṭreṇa pṛthivīṃ dhṛtvā tāṃ śata-yojanam ūrdhvaṃ samuddhṛtavān ||
قال لوماشا: «يا بطل، بنابٍ واحدٍ متلألئ أمسك الأرض ورفعها مئةَ يوجانا. يا يودهيشثيرا الشجاع، إن فيشنو الذي لا يفنى أسند الأرض بذلك السنّ المتوهّج الواحد ورفعها إلى العلوّ.»
