Cyavana’s Sacrifice and the Aśvins’ Soma Dispute
ग्रहीष्यन्तं तु तं सोममश्रिनोरुत्तमं तदा । समीक्ष्य बलभिद् देव इदं वचनमब्रवीत्
grahīṣyantaṃ tu taṃ somam aśrino ruttamaṃ tadā | samīkṣya balabhid devo idaṃ vacanam abravīt |

लोगश उवाच
The verse highlights that power and desire must be governed by dharma: when someone is poised to take what is not rightly theirs, a higher moral authority may intervene to restrain the act and restore proper order.
A figure is on the verge of taking the supreme Soma; Indra (called Balabhid) notices this impending act and begins to address it, setting up a corrective or admonitory speech.
