इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत तीर्थयात्रापर्चमें लोमशतीर्थयात्राके प्रसंगनें कार्तवीर्योपाख्यानमें जमदग्निवधविषयक एक सौ सोलहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārate Vanaparvake antargata tīrthayātrāparvaṇi Lomaśatīrthayātrāprasange Kārtavīryopākhyāne Jamadagnivadhaviṣayaka ekaśataṣoḍaśo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
وهكذا، في «شري مهابهاراتا»، ضمن «فانا بارفا»—وخاصةً في قسم «تيرثا-ياترا»—وفي سياق رحلة لومَاشا إلى التيَرثات، تنتهي حكاية كارتافيرْيَة عند الفصل السادس عشر بعد المئة، المتعلق بقتل جامَدَغْنِي.
अकृतव्रण उवाच
