संजानंस्तस्य चात्मानं मम चैव परं मतम्‌ । अजानन्निव मां कस्मादर्जुनाद्याभिशड्कसे,अर्जुन! इस प्रकार तुम दुर्योधनके मनकी भावना तथा मेरे दृढ़ निश्चयको जानते हुए भी आज अनजानकी भाँति क्‍यों मुझपर संदेह कर रहे हो?

sañjānans tasya cātmānaṁ mama caiva paraṁ matam | ajānann iva māṁ kasmād arjunādyābhiśaṅkase ||

«وأنت تعلم قصدَ دوريودhana، وتعلم كذلك عزمي الثابت، فلماذا—يا أرجونا—تشكّ فيّ اليوم كأنك لا تعلم؟»
