Drupada’s Instruction to the Purohita for the Kaurava Embassy (द्रुपदोपदेशः दूतप्रेषणम्)
स भवान् धर्मयुक्तश्न धर्म्य तेषु समाचरन्
sa bhavān dharmayuktaś ca dharmyaṃ teṣu samācaran | vibhetsyati manāṃsy eṣām iti me nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
قال دروبادا: «إنك راسخٌ في الدارما؛ وإذا سلكتَ بينهم سلوكًا يوافق الاستقامة، فستُقلِق قلوبهم لا محالة—ولا شكّ عندي في ذلك. وأمام شيوخ بيت كورو الرحماء، اعرض شريعة السلالة التي سار عليها أسلافهم، واصفًا ما قاساه الباندافا من شدائد. وبهذا ستصرف عقولهم عن جانب دوريودانا؛ ولا تردّد عندي في الأمر.»
